Wojciech P. Grygiel – profesor Uniwersytetu Papieskiego Jana Pawła II w Krakowie (Wydział Filozoficzny), profesor Uniwersytetu Opolskiego (Wydział Teologiczny), członek Komisji Filozofii Nauk Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności w Krakowie, członek Centrum Kopernika Badań Interdyscyplinarnych, kapłan diecezji opolskiej. Jego prace badawcze koncentrują się na epistemicznym i ontologicznym statusie symetrii w sformalizowanych teoriach fizycznych, a w dziedzinie relacji między nauką a teologią rozwija nowatorski kierunek zwany teologią ewolucyjną.
